About the role
Responsibilities
- Maximize existing business and develop new accounts within the Specialty Retail segments
- Introduce customers to new products and marketing campaigns
- Conduct ongoing business planning reviews and secure quarterly Distributor sales reports
- Work closely with key distributors to maximize distribution capabilities and manage costs
- Coordinate with Distributor reps and Broker networks, providing training and customer ride-alongs
- Present new items to the customer base and manage territory sample spend
- Participate in regional and national food shows
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 3+ years of outside sales experience
- Existing relationships within the specialty food sales field in the target region
- Proven track record of identifying, cultivating, and closing deals
- Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish (written and verbal)
- Ability to travel significantly (80%+), including international travel
