About the role
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain effective customer and independent distributor relationships
- Maintain and develop sales accounts to ensure profit targets are achieved
- Coordinate sales activities with multiple internal functions
- Provide input for the development of strategic sales plans
- Identify growth opportunities and corrections by tracking product performance per route
- Maintain warehouse areas to meet regulatory and AIB standards
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 2-5 years of experience in sales management, DSD, or Route Sales
- Valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to travel approximately 50% by vehicle to customer stores and meetings
- Must live in the local geographic area to ensure access to the assigned district
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in route sales within the grocery industry
- Fluency in both English and Spanish (verbal and written)
- Basic knowledge of DSD systems
