Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Identify, approach, and visit existing and potential customers to drive sales and market share.
• Present and demonstrate agricultural machinery and implements to clients.
• Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly targets.
• Assist customers with equipment financing options, including interest rates and installment plans.
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with farmers and agricultural businesses.
• Provide after-sales support and follow-ups to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate quotations, proposals, and profit margin calculations using SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Maintain detailed customer records and visit logs within the CRM system.
• Stay updated on the latest agricultural technology, precision farming trends, and industry developments.

Requirements

• Matric / Grade 12 qualification.
• 3-5 years of proven experience in sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong agricultural and technical knowledge, specifically regarding machinery and implements.
• At least 2 years of experience working with equipment financing deals.
• Proficiency in using SAP or similar enterprise systems.
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.

Preferred Qualifications

• Sales or Marketing Diploma or Degree.
• Formal Sales Management qualification.
• Advanced Customer Relationship Management expertise.
