Sales Representative

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of accounts from initial quote to delivery and provide ongoing after-sale service
• Act as the first point of contact for phone and web inquiries, vetting new business for the Carbohydrate Solutions line
• Prospect and call potential customers to close deals and achieve established sales goals
• Facilitate product samples and technical document requests while capturing all pertinent data
• Utilize CRM (SalesForce) daily to log activities, manage customer notes, and update the sales pipeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to maximize short and long-term profitable growth
• Conduct market research on competitive products and monitor how commodity futures influence pricing

Requirements

• 1+ years of relative sales or customer-facing experience
• Bachelor's degree in business or a science-related field
• Proficiency in CRM software (SalesForce preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to multitask, work independently, and solve problems creatively
