Responsibilities

• Support and execute the purchase of recycled metals to meet tonnage and profitability goals
• Visit dealerships and industrial suppliers via phone or in person to promote new business and manage client relationships
• Support prospecting efforts to identify new clients and opportunities
• Develop a contact network to gather market information and pricing trends
• Shadow experienced team members and gradually assume negotiation tasks
• Participate in profit and loss analysis under supervision
• Coordinate with administrative staff and the sales team to ensure accurate documentation of transactions

Requirements

• College diploma in business, sales, marketing, or equivalent experience
• 0 to 3 years of experience (experience in recycling, metals, or industrial sales is an asset)
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Strong mathematics, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
• Bilingual in French and English
• Strong analytical skills regarding results
