About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support assigned existing customer accounts to maintain satisfaction, retention, and stable business growth
  • Support new customer identification and market expansion initiatives for petrochemical plastics (including ABS, ASA, and PC) across North America
  • Conduct regular customer visits and maintain ongoing technical and commercial communication to understand customer needs
  • Assist with market and industry analysis to support pricing decisions, profitability, and competitive positioning
  • Coordinate order processing, logistics, inventory control, and sales forecasting through SAP
  • Monitor accounts receivable status and support follow-ups to facilitate timely collection

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or customer-facing roles
  • Experience in petrochemical resins or engineering plastics (ABS, ASA, or PC preferred)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel up to 60%
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills and ability to analyze market data

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with plastic manufacturers or distributors
  • Exposure to appliance, automotive, medical, or industrial materials markets
  • Knowledge of SAP (ERP) systems
