About the role

Responsibilities

  • Build, develop, and strategically manage B2B customer relationships, including new business acquisition and upselling existing accounts.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities and maintain a sustainable sales pipeline from lead generation to contract closing.
  • Analyze market, competitor, and customer requirements to develop business cases for integrated hardware and software solutions (EV, PV, storage, and EMS).
  • Provide technical consulting during the presales process, focusing on energy use cases, regulatory requirements, and sustainability goals.
  • Conduct product demonstrations, technical deep dives, and solution presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Go-to-Market, Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams on RFIs/RFPs, solution concepts, and requirement gathering.
  • Manage end-to-end offers covering hardware and software, including platform integration, data connectivity, and installation.
  • Take responsibility for revenue and growth targets, including forecasting and pipeline management within the CRM.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of professional experience in B2B sales or business development, ideally in a technical field such as software, electrical engineering, energy, or IoT.
  • Proven track record selling complex hardware, software, or platform solutions (e.g., EVSE, PV, storage, EMS, or SaaS).
  • Strong technical understanding of interfaces, data connectivity, APIs, and protocols, ideally involving EMS, SCADA, BMS, or IoT system integration.
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems like Salesforce or Microsoft Dynamics for data-driven pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate technical concepts for diverse audiences.
  • Fluency in both German and English.
  • Willingness to travel and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
  • A degree in Engineering, Energy, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
