Sales Manager/Assistant Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive hotel revenue through proactive sales activities and business development across corporate, leisure, and group segments
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with corporate accounts, travel agents, and event planners
• Identify new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, sales calls, and market research
• Conduct site inspections, sales presentations, and client meetings to showcase hotel facilities
• Achieve individual and departmental revenue targets, including room nights, ADR, and occupancy objectives
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities to maintain a competitive advantage
• Prepare proposals, contracts, and rate agreements in compliance with hotel policies
• Collaborate with Reservations, Front Office, and Revenue Management to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence updates

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Hospitality Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field
• 3-5 years of hospitality sales experience (minimum 3 years for Assistant Manager; 5 years for Manager)
• Proven track record in business development and achieving sales targets
• Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Willingness to travel and attend business events as required
