Sales Manager Technology

Responsibilities

• Implementation of medium- to long-term sales strategies in the technology sector
• Market segmentation and development of target-group-specific sales approaches
• Collaboration on pricing and product strategy considering market requirements and margin targets
• Close cooperation with marketing to develop go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and product placements
• Building and maintaining strategic partnerships and cooperations
• Conducting market, customer, and competitor analyses to derive opportunities, risks, and trends
• Utilizing and evaluating sales data (e.g., sales figures, margins, customer behavior) for targeted management
• Developing and monitoring KPIs to measure the success of sales activities

Requirements

• Degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Technology, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or similar
• Several years of professional experience in strategic sales, preferably in agricultural technology or a technical environment
• Sound knowledge of market analysis, data interpretation, or sales controlling
• Strong understanding of agricultural processes, machinery, and technologies
• Experience with CRM systems and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or advanced Excel
• Strong analytical skills and ability to derive strategic recommendations
• High affinity for agriculture and willingness to travel occasionally
• Very good German language skills; English is an advantage
