About the role
Responsibilities
- Maintain relations and solicit daily room night production from existing accounts
- Organize VIP arrivals and provide assistance during stays
- Plan sales activities including sales calls and blitzes to develop new business
- Negotiate new contracts and renewals to meet sales targets
- Coordinate guest requirements with Front Office, Banqueting, and F&B departments
- Prepare monthly sales activity reports for assigned markets
- Define key strategies and tactics to generate incremental revenue
- Achieve monthly budget goals and new business targets
- Follow up with clients before, during, and after events to ensure repeat business
- Conduct professional presentations to key clients and research lost business
Requirements
- Proven track record in a similar sales role within a quality environment
- Ability to manage a sales team and achieve goals
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Commercially astute and motivated by challenges
- Ability to multitask and maintain high attention to detail
- Driven and ambitious to increase sales volume
