About the role
Responsibilities
- Identify and target potential clients to generate leads and increase event bookings
- Establish strong client relationships through effective communication and exceptional service
- Conduct site inspections and present proposals highlighting event facilities
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to close favorable deals
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure seamless event execution
- Stay updated on industry trends and adjust strategies as needed
- Maintain accurate records in the hotel's CRM system
- Monitor and achieve monthly and annual sales targets and KPIs
Requirements
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in hospitality or meetings/events
- Strong expertise in sales with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively negotiate and manage contracts
- Result-oriented approach
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in sales software and CRM
- Deep knowledge of the local meetings/events market and industry trends
