About the role
Responsibilities
- Mentor and elevate the team of SMB Account Executives
- Help team members close new business and achieve monthly/quarterly quotas
- Evangelize the Podium story and align solutions with prospect needs
- Build new territories and hire/scale the team
- Lead with radical candor and manage high-performance environments
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience managing Account Executives
- Demonstrated leadership ability and success in a sales role (preferably software)
- Experience with quota and commission compensation structures
- Ability to communicate effectively with C-level executives
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of B2B software sales experience
- 4-year degree in Business or a related field
- Proven success in penetrating new markets and closing new business
- Consistent history of over-achievement in sales targets
