About the role
Responsibilities
- Recruit, onboard, and develop a high-performing sales team
- Coach team members through one-on-ones and field ride-alongs
- Carry an individual sales quota for fire alarm and fire sprinkler opportunities
- Manage team revenue targets, gross margin, and pipeline health
- Develop territory sales strategies for service and construction channels
- Cultivate relationships with general contractors, developers, and property managers
- Lead weekly pipeline reviews and enforce CRM discipline
- Collaborate with operations and service delivery teams for seamless handoffs
Requirements
- 7+ years of B2B sales experience
- 3+ years in a sales leadership or people-management role
- 5+ years of fire protection industry sales experience
- Knowledge of fire alarm and low voltage service offerings
- Proven track record of meeting revenue and margin targets
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
- Valid driver's license and acceptable motor vehicle record
- Ability to be present in the field with the team regularly
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or related field
- Experience with design-build and negotiated project work
- Experience with recurring service and contract sales models
