Responsibilities
- Manage all sales activities from lead generation through closing in the Northern California territory
- Develop and implement annual sales and marketing plans to expand the customer base
- Attend surgeries to assist surgical staff with product questions and instrument use
- Build a database of qualified leads through networking, cold calling, and referrals
- Oversee day-to-day activities of Associate Sales Representatives (ASRs) within the territory
- Train and develop local ASRs on surgical and selling skills
- Manage trauma call schedules and assign quotas to local ASRs
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities using Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Requirements
- 2-5 years of sales experience, preferably in the medical device industry
- Proven ability to achieve and surpass sales quotas
- Extensive experience in sales and account management
- Valid driver's license
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Willingness to travel and work in a global team environment
Preferred Qualifications
- 2-5 years of specific OrthoPediatrics medical device experience
- 2-4 year degree or 3-5 years of proven medical device sales success
