Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Drive sales growth across a defined UK territory, targeting machine builders and manufacturing end users
• Leverage technical engineering knowledge to provide solution-based selling strategies
• Develop and maintain strong, long-term customer relationships and partnerships
• Act as a liaison between customers and engineering teams to communicate technical requirements
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the manufacturing engineering environment
• Maintain a thorough understanding of how equipment, components, and systems integrate into production processes
• Deliver effective sales presentations and lead negotiations to close deals

Requirements

• Proven experience in technical sales within a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Strong engineering or technical understanding, including the ability to interpret drawings or specifications
• Demonstrated experience selling to machine builders (OEMs) and manufacturing businesses
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into practical, commercially viable solutions
• Excellent relationship-building skills with both technical and commercial stakeholders
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage a territory independently and maintain accurate forecasting
• Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills
