Sales Manager - Marine

Responsibilities

• Drive front-end sales for the Ocean and Engine Power markets.
• Manage direct sales and after-sales business for the India, Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka region.
• Develop and grow the Ocean business in alignment with Business Unit strategies.
• Build long-term relationships with key accounts to enhance revenue potential.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including factory, engineering, and customer sales support, to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
• Manage order intake, business forecasting, and effective use of CRM tools.
• Support invoicing targets and assist with accounts receivable and collections.

Requirements

• BE in Mechanical or Marine Engineering.
• 4-9 years of experience in sales and marketing.
• Strong technical knowledge of ship engine rooms and diesel power plants.
• Basic working knowledge of marine products used on board vessels.
• Willingness to travel extensively to cover a wide geographical region and spend significant time at customer sites.
• Ability to work in a dynamic market and handle work pressures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous shipboard experience is highly preferred.
