About the role
Responsibilities
- Lead, hire, and motivate a team of sales executives to meet and exceed individual and team goals
- Build and manage a high-achieving sales team focused on identifying leads and pitching services to new clients
- Analyze sales data to identify system weaknesses and report findings to management
- Develop and optimize sales processes to increase team effectiveness
- Implement consultative selling techniques and ensure the team hits input and output KPIs
- Maintain strong working relationships with new business contacts and clients
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of relevant sales managerial experience (experience in startups or the logistics industry is a plus)
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline from a reputable institution
- Excellent problem-solving, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Strong communication skills with fluency in English
- Proficiency in CRM programs
- Ability to take accountability and a willingness to roll up your sleeves to get the job done
