Sales Manager In Training

Responsibilities

• Participate in a structured training program that combines Sales Associate duties with leadership development
• Learn showroom management tasks including daily operations, inventory counts, and team performance driving
• Engage with guests to design home layouts, present furnishings, and guide them through the sales process
• Handle customer service issues and resolve problems within the showroom
• Conduct training sessions with associates and shadow experienced managers to learn operational skills
• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs)
• Maintain showroom neatness and manage customer accounts through prospecting and referrals

Requirements

• Ability to work evenings and weekends as part of a flexible 40-hour-per-week schedule
• Ability to stand and navigate large showrooms for extended periods (high daily step counts)
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and Google Suite
• Experience in customer-facing roles, relationship management, or sales

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree
• 1+ years of experience in a related retail or sales environment
