About the role
Responsibilities
- Build a functional marketing and sales team while interacting with technical personnel
- Develop and implement best practices for BESS projects across residential, commercial, industrial, and utility scales
- Act as a domain expert on BESS and cooperate with parent ESS related parties
- Develop metrics and targets for continuous improvement in project delivery
- Establish methods for tracking construction progress and new market identification
- Participate in industry conferences and maintain connections to competitive market trends
- Develop relationships with key technology vendors, procurement, construction, and EPC
- Negotiate contracts with customers, partners, vendors, and subcontractors
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in Business Development
- 2+ years in the energy sector, specifically ESS
- BA in Finance, Marketing, or a related field
- Experience working in a startup or similar environment
- Global experience with an understanding of multicultural nuances
- Excellent communication and networking skills
Preferred Qualifications
- MBA degree
