Responsibilities
- Lead, manage, and coach the field sales team to achieve merchant acquisition and sales targets in the Malaysia market
- Drive the full sales process including prospecting, cold calling, closing deals, and merchant activation
- Monitor sales performance and prepare reports using data-driven performance tracking
- Recruit, develop, and build a high-performing sales team through on-ground coaching and shadowing
- Oversee outbound and inbound lead management and improve conversion rates
- Collaborate with HR, Product, Marketing, and AI teams to support sales strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of sales experience with proven team management experience
- Experience in field sales, SME merchant acquisition, and KPI-driven environments
- Experience with SaaS, fintech, or POS is preferred
- Proficiency with CRM systems such as HubSpot
- Hands-on experience with prospecting, cold calling, and closing deals
- Minimum of a diploma
- Fluent in English; Mandarin fluency is a plus
- Eligible to work in Malaysia
