About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue by soliciting and securing business through a proactive, consultative sales approach.
- Prepare and present timely quotes and proposals to customers via various booking systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to capture and service event opportunities.
- Attend site visits and pre-conference planning meetings to support the customer event experience.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, venue personnel, and hotel staff.
- Manage a healthy sales pipeline and ensure all opportunities are accurately updated in the CRM.
- Support sales forecasting efforts and maintain knowledge of emerging event technology.
Requirements
- BS/BA degree or 1+ years of ENCORE or equivalent industry experience.
- Strong technical aptitude and computer proficiency.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a hotel environment, including irregular hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in technology sales or the hospitality industry.
- Prior sales experience specifically within the audiovisual sector.
