Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach the sales staff to achieve departmental and hotel goals
- Develop and implement sales strategies to drive revenue and manage corporate client relationships
- Analyze sales results and market competition to recommend improvements
- Report on confirmed and anticipated bookings for forecasting purposes
- Maintain close contact with travel agents, local business groups, and airlines
- Liaise with Rooms, Reservations, and Banquet departments to ensure seamless service delivery for groups
- Oversee the training and performance appraisals of sales employees
- Manage administrative tasks including personnel requisition, leave approvals, and budget monitoring
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant discipline
- 4-5 years of sales experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
- Professional disposition with strong interpersonal skills
- Result-oriented mindset with a positive attitude toward challenges
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a 5-star luxury hotel environment
