About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of key accounts with five and six-figure contract values
- Drive revenue growth by identifying and closing high-value deals with blue-chip companies at senior management levels
- Cultivate strong, consultative relationships with multiple senior stakeholders
- Achieve and exceed agreed show and personal revenue and profit targets
- Research market trends and client objectives to create tailored partnership propositions
- Collaborate with content, marketing, and sales departments to ensure unified team operations
- Mentor early-career sales professionals and support leadership initiatives
- Attend events to liaise with exhibitors and sponsors, ensuring contract fulfillment and client satisfaction
Requirements
- 6 years of B2B conference and exhibition sponsorship sales experience
- Deep expertise within the Education sector (knowledge of renewables/oil & gas education is a plus)
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding ambitious sales targets
- Experience training salespeople and developing sales methodologies
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems
- Strong negotiation, proposal writing, and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively across diverse cultures
