About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive sponsorship and exhibition revenue growth through strategic account management and business development
- Manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts with medium to high-value contract revenue
- Identify and convert new sponsorship and exhibition opportunities into long-term partnerships
- Develop tailored sponsorship proposals aligned to client objectives and event value propositions
- Build and maintain strong consultative relationships with senior stakeholders and industry partners
- Achieve and exceed individual and event revenue targets through proactive sales activity
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and production teams to maximize event success
- Represent the business onsite to ensure sponsor and exhibitor deliverables are fulfilled
Requirements
- 4–6 years of experience in B2B conference, exhibition, or sponsorship sales
- Demonstrated experience in exhibition and sponsorship sales with strong commercial acumen
- Strong consultative sales, lead generation, and pipeline management skills
- Proven ability to negotiate high-value commercial agreements and manage stakeholders
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications
- Strong organizational, presentation, and relationship-building skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Industry experience within energy, mining, healthcare, or related sectors
- Previous exposure to large-scale events sectors
