About the role
Responsibilities
- Own the performance of a team of Account Executives through weekly 1:1s, pipeline reviews, and deal strategy sessions
- Coach AEs on live deals with specific tactical guidance and join strategic deals to help close
- Ramp new AEs and SDRs transitioning into AE roles
- Maintain high standards for CRM hygiene and pipeline accuracy
- Run forecast calls and ensure visibility into revenue
- Track key metrics including conversion rates, deal velocity, and forecast accuracy
- Interview and hire new Account Executives
Requirements
- Proven track record as a top-performing AE with clearly articulable numbers
- 2+ years of experience managing a team of 5+ AEs in a B2B SaaS environment
- Full-cycle closing experience with mid-market deals ($30K+ ACV)
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-velocity sales environments
- A desire to remain active in deals rather than pursuing a pure management role
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong understanding of AI and ERP systems
- Experience working in startups or high-growth environments
- Ability to adapt coaching styles to different team members
