About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage and work as part of a small team to provide exceptional customer experience
- Responsible for merchandising product and executing marketing campaigns
- Maintain bakery cleanliness and assist with production/baking as needed
- Foster a positive environment promoting teamwork and high performance
- Manage team development through training, coaching, and performance reviews
- Support local community events and the 'End of Day Giving' program
Requirements
- 1+ years of supervisory experience, ideally in food service or hospitality
- Outstanding customer service skills
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities
- Basic financial management skills including cash management and banking
- Proven experience in recruitment, selection, retention, and staff development
- Ability to stand/walk continuously and lift up to 22 kg
