About the role

Responsibilities

  • Mentor and coach a team of Channel Account Managers to develop a strong and effective sales team
  • Monitor statistics for the assigned territory and identify reporting discrepancies
  • Support Channel Account Managers with partner negotiations, objections, and closing
  • Maintain accurate reporting and pipeline management
  • Identify areas of improvement and suggest training to increase production
  • Act as the first line of support for teams regarding best practices
  • Ensure channel partners are enabled and engaged to maximize revenue yield
  • Identify and qualify prospective partners for the global partner program
  • Educate partners on program requirements and deliverables
  • Build company credibility, brand value, and trust with partners and customers
  • Prioritize workload and direct activities of Channel Account Managers
  • Work with partners to develop marketing plans with clear objectives
  • Utilize marketing content and campaigns to communicate products and promotions
  • Meet monthly sales volume targets and strategic objectives by adding new customers and resellers
  • Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel in partner accounts
  • Proactively assess and validate partner needs
  • Provide partner feedback for future product enhancements
  • Ensure partner compliance with agreements
  • Drive adoption of new partner programs
  • Manage hiring, promotion, discipline, and termination of subordinate employees

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years experience as a Channel Account Manager
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers
  • Demonstrated sales aptitude with assertiveness and persistence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and organization skills
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Strong analytical, strategic, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to quickly understand partner needs and pain points
  • Passion for business and willingness to go the extra mile
