Sales Manager Building Construction

Responsibilities

• Define, agree upon, and monitor sales targets derived from business unit strategy and sales concepts
• Coordinate continuously with sales and operations interfaces, including participation in S&OP planning
• Define assortment design at locations in coordination with the Regional Sales Manager
• Advise the Regional Sales Manager on optimizing market development and sales structures
• Manage assortment through approvals, such as one-time supplier accounts and item listings
• Support purchasing in listing and annual negotiations and obtaining advertising cost subsidies
• Create target-group-based pricing calculations and approve customer price lists
• Implement marketing and sales measures in cooperation with specialized departments
• Support large tenders and accompany the field service at customer sites

Requirements

• Several years of sales experience with a strong understanding of the building materials trade
• Completed commercial training with several years of relevant experience or a degree in business administration
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Analytical thinking and strategic skill
• Willingness to travel within the sales region
• Existing network within the industry preferred
