Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Prospect and develop new corporate and business travel accounts
• Manage existing accounts to maximize room night production and revenue
• Conduct outside sales calls, site tours, client meetings, and networking events
• Negotiate corporate rate agreements and contracts
• Maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers and travel buyers
• Monitor account production and identify opportunities for growth
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and community networking opportunities
• Collaborate with revenue management and hotel operations teams
• Maintain accurate account information and sales activities within the CRM system
• Meet or exceed established revenue and production goals

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of hotel sales or related hospitality sales experience
• Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills
• Proven ability to develop new business and maintain client relationships
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and hotel sales systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Hyatt experience
• Business Travel (BT) sales experience
• Experience working within the Chicago market
• Knowledge of corporate negotiated rate programs
