Sales Manager

Responsibilities

• Generate new leads and prospective customers through outreach, cold calling, and trade shows
• Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to ensure satisfaction
• Work closely with the Account Team to onboard new customer accounts
• Provide customized logistics solutions by understanding customer business needs and market conditions
• Quote customer business and proactively follow up on leads
• Utilize Salesforce and other analytical tools to provide regular activity and prospecting reports
• Stay informed on freight market trends to effectively consult with customers

Requirements

• 3 or more years of professional sales experience
• Strong organizational, negotiating, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a larger sales group
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to travel a minimum of 15% to meet with customers

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Salesforce or other CRM platforms
• Knowledge of brokerage, third-party logistics (3PL), or freight forwarding
• College degree
