About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead, inspire, and develop a high-performing sales team to achieve ambitious commercial objectives and financial goals.
  • Own and deliver sales targets for assigned products across sectors, ensuring effective resource deployment.
  • Develop robust business plans and quarterly sales targets in alignment with the General Manager and Business Unit Lead.
  • Design and optimize sales force deployment plans, including territory design, field force allocation, and account coverage.
  • Monitor performance indicators to identify execution gaps and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Drive adoption of sales competency models through structured capability building and high-quality field coaching.
  • Lead customer engagement strategies for priority accounts, building sustainable partnerships with physicians and hospital management.
  • Partner with Marketing, Medical Affairs, and VAP teams to ensure aligned cross-functional execution.
  • Manage monthly demand forecasting and collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure stable product supply.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with internal policies, local codes of practice, and Amgen Values.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 15 years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience.
  • At least 8 years of experience in sales leadership roles with direct people management responsibility.
  • Proficiency in English (oral and written) and Cantonese.
  • Technical proficiency in MS Office, Copilot, and Veeva CRM.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in cardiovascular or specialty care therapeutic areas.
  • Proven track record of leading sales teams in highly competitive market environments.
