About the role
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales plans to achieve revenue targets
- Generate new business from corporate, leisure, MICE, and travel trade segments
- Conduct sales calls, client meetings, and property visits
- Manage sales leads, proposals, negotiations, and contract closures
- Achieve monthly and annual room revenue and banquet sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts and travel partners
- Conduct market analysis and competitive intelligence
- Utilize CRM systems to track sales activities and manage client databases
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and front office departments
- Mentor and support junior sales team members
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or Marketing
- 5–8 years of progressive experience in hotel sales or hospitality business development
- Expertise in corporate sales, MICE, banquet sales, and leisure segments
- Proven ability to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong networking and relationship-building abilities
- Strong analytical skills for market analysis
- Experience in account management and client retention
- Leadership and mentoring capabilities
