About the role

Responsibilities

  • Drive territory growth in the Houston North market by leveraging in-depth market knowledge and effective sales strategies.
  • Provide business coaching to independent contractor agents to help them meet business objectives and evolve with customer demands.
  • Oversee the strategic placement and development of agents to maximize market opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of high engagement and adaptability within the sales territory.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, financial services, or sales leadership.
  • Must have already passed the FINRA SIE exam.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Series 6, 63, and 65 licenses, as well as Life/Health, Variable, and Property and Casualty licenses.
  • Strong coaching, relationship-building, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of managing or growing a business.
  • Ability to work flexible, non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven track record of recruiting and selecting entrepreneurs.
  • Expertise in identifying innovative approaches to enhance insurance and financial services outcomes.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills to reach mutually beneficial solutions with internal and external partners.
