About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach a team of 3 to 5 Builder Sales Managers, owning both input and output KPIs.
  • Personally manage Tier 1 builder relationships and major national/regional homebuilder accounts.
  • Recruit, onboard, and develop high-performing sales talent.
  • Identify and close corporate partnerships with national outdoor-living and deck-building brands.
  • Maintain an active personal territory to model high-velocity outbound sales and spec closing.
  • Optimize CRM processes, forecasting discipline, and sales enablement materials.
  • Provide market intelligence to product and marketing teams to influence the product roadmap.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in field sales or business development.
  • 2+ years of experience directly managing sales teams.
  • Proven experience in the builder channel or construction-adjacent industries (HVAC, building products, etc.).
  • Experience in technical solution selling and managing enterprise-level accounts.
  • Proficiency with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to present metrics to senior leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
  • Ability to travel significantly across the United States and Canada.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience selling into Tier 1 national homebuilders.
  • Background in premium building products or integrated heating and control systems.
  • Experience developing go-to-market strategies and scalable sales playbooks.

Benefits

  • Base salary ranging from $150,000 to $165,000 per year.
