About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and execute the multi-segment commercial strategy (Corporate, Groups, Leisure, MICE, TMCs, and Airlines) for Wyndham's managed hotel portfolio in Brazil.
  • Maximize room revenue and ensure the achievement of sales budget targets across multiple properties.
  • Lead, train, and motivate local sales teams at managed hotels to foster a high-performance collaborative environment.
  • Develop customized sales plans for each property by analyzing Brazilian market trends and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate with Revenue Management, Marketing, and Operations departments to align pricing, distribution, and promotional strategies.
  • Manage the cluster sales budget and optimize commercial resources to reach revenue goals.
  • Coordinate monthly commercial visits for prospecting high-production accounts and managing TMC and operator segments.
  • Represent Wyndham brands at industry fairs, events, and high-level negotiations.
  • Monitor commercial KPIs and prepare analytical performance reports for executive leadership.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Brazilian hospitality or tourism market.
  • Proven track record in sales leadership and multi-property management (mid-to-senior level).
  • University degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, Tourism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Native or fluent Portuguese language skills.
  • Deep knowledge of regional hotel markets in Brazil, specifically São Paulo, Northeast, Gramado, Foz do Iguaçu, and Olímpia.
  • Full flexibility and willingness to travel frequently throughout the national territory.
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build long-term professional relationships and close complex contracts.
