Sales Floorcovering Representative

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow sales and profits within a designated floorcovering territory
• Build and maintain strong professional relationships with new and existing customers
• Conduct product demonstrations and competitive product comparisons to support customer solutions
• Generate new leads and identify opportunities to secure new accounts
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and weekly/monthly reports
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programs and promote company initiatives
• Visit clients to evaluate needs, answer questions regarding pricing and availability, and maintain accurate client records

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age
• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service
• Ability to communicate, read, and write fluently in both English and Spanish
• Valid, unrestricted Driver's License
• Ability to lift and carry up to 70 lbs on occasion

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in outside sales or selling floorcovering products
• Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems
• Associate's degree in business, sales, or marketing
• Previous experience as a Sherwin-Williams Assistant Store or Branch Operations Manager
