About the role
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute sales strategies to prioritize account portfolios and maintain long-term customer relationships.
- Interface directly with customers to promote and sell UL products and services within the CMIT portfolio.
- Drive the full sales lifecycle from initial discovery and opportunity identification to proposal and closing.
- Establish connections with new logo prospects through inbound and outbound channels to qualify needs and land new customers.
- Proactively manage existing customers to ensure service renewals and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical engineers and sales support specialists to address complex customer requirements.
- Transition closed sales to fulfillment teams to ensure seamless service delivery and implementation.
- Provide expert input to Global and Strategic Account Managers during the account planning process.
Requirements
- 6+ years of related sales experience.
- Bachelor's or graduate degree in engineering or a related field.
- Deep knowledge of specialty products and services within the Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) portfolio.
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and CRM software.
- Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of professional sales processes.
