About the role
Responsibilities
- Support a team of salespeople in securing high-profile sponsorship deals for premium rights holders globally
- Proactively prospect potential sponsors across various categories and geographical regions to grow the sales pipeline
- Collaborate with research and insights teams to tailor brand interactions and develop client-specific sales materials
- Work closely with operations and creative teams to ensure client needs are met based on sales lead direction
- Build and foster relationships with both rights holder and brand stakeholders
- Assist sales managers and leads during meetings, presentations, and brand hosting events
Requirements
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Baseline knowledge of the sponsorship, sports, and/or marketing/media industries
- Strong negotiation, influence, and persuasion skills
- Proven ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders
- High levels of emotional intelligence and a passion for sport
- Ability to work effectively within a team and balance multiple clients or projects simultaneously
