About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage local marketing activities for products and services to US government agencies or private firms
- Direct the development of short- and long-term objectives and make recommendations to senior management
- Monitor defense acquisition activities among all branches of US Armed Services
- Develop procurement strategies, conduct briefings, and lead formal proposal efforts
- Maintain key marketing contacts with civilian and military personnel
- Develop and maintain customer relationships and manage target programs
- Support marketing and sales analysis and interface with international sales teams
Requirements
- Former USAF/USN pilot (required)
- Active secret security clearance or ability to reactivate
- Over 15 years of experience in military aircraft sales management
- Extensive knowledge of the military acquisition process
- Experience working with U.S. primes and OEMs
- Ability to travel 51% - 75%
- Proficiency in English; Portuguese is desirable
Preferred Qualifications
- BA degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Marketing, Business Administration, or Economics
- Advanced knowledge in defense aviation and mission systems
- Experience in defense aviation sales and marketing techniques
