About the role
Responsibilities
- Drive revenue growth through customer expansion, cross-sell, upsell, and new customer acquisition
- Manage a portfolio of existing customers to increase product adoption and ARR
- Execute proactive prospecting strategies via phone, email, social selling, and events
- Manage the full sales cycle from discovery through proposal, negotiation, and close
- Utilize the MEDDPICC framework to qualify opportunities and advance deals
- Build multi-threaded relationships with stakeholders in schools and educational organizations
- Maintain accurate opportunity and forecasting data within Salesforce
Requirements
- 1-3+ years of experience in SaaS, EdTech, business development, or consultative sales
- Proven success in generating revenue through expansion and new business acquisition
- Experience managing structured sales processes from prospecting to close
- Proficiency with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel within the assigned territory (Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada)
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience selling SaaS or EdTech solutions to K-12 or Higher Education
- Familiarity with MEDDPICC sales methodology
- Understanding of educational funding cycles and district decision-making
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Education, or Communications
- Experience leveraging AI tools for sales productivity
