About the role
Responsibilities
- Actively seek new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and social media
- Set up meetings with potential clients to understand business needs and deliver tailored presentations
- Manage and grow existing client accounts to increase commercial cooperation
- Negotiate and close deals while handling objections and complaints
- Achieve and exceed agreed personal revenue and profit targets
- Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to ensure cohesive service delivery
- Attend events to liaise with exhibitors and sponsors onsite to ensure contract fulfillment
- Stay updated on industry trends to provide high-value propositions to clients
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B exhibition sales and sponsorship
- Proven track record in telephone sales with high call rates
- Technical experience in contract management, budget management, and proposal writing
- Proficiency in using databases, preferably Salesforce, for sales campaigns
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Ability to cross-sell and up-sell products and services
Preferred Qualifications
- Multilingual capabilities (other languages are an advantage)
- Strong social media savvy and networking skills
