About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery, demos, design sessions, and proof-of-value engagements
  • Translate customer needs into value-based narratives regarding accessibility and open-meeting requirements
  • Own technical sales artifacts including solution designs, integration diagrams, and security questionnaire responses
  • Partner with Account Executives to multi-thread technical and economic buyers
  • Serve as a technical bridge between sales and delivery, partnering with Implementation and CSM teams
  • Use AI coding assistants and agentic tooling to prototype integrations and produce specifications
  • Investigate customer external systems like CRM, SSO, ERP, and data warehouses for integration purposes
  • Partner with Engineering and Product to scope solutions and provide field observations

Requirements

  • 3+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Consultant, or similar customer-facing technical role
  • Proven success in SaaS sales, ideally within the public sector
  • Strong technical fundamentals with comfort in modern web architectures
  • Experience with real-time product domains such as AV systems, live streaming, or WebRTC
  • Proficiency with AI coding assistants and agentic tooling
  • Ability to represent engineering in customer-facing settings like RFPs and security reviews

Preferred Qualifications

  • GovTech experience (state, local, federal, or transit)
  • Experience with government meeting or legislative management products
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards like WCAG, ADA, or Section 508
  • Knowledge of GIS, data analytics, or public-sector procurement vehicles
