Sales Engineering Lead

Responsibilities

• Own the SE org end-to-end: recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and retaining a high-performing team
• Design and run enablement programs to develop SEs from non-traditional backgrounds into technical sellers
• Act as a servant leader to the revenue org, providing executive-level support on high-stakes opportunities
• Build and ship AI-powered workflows to improve demoing, preparation, and scaling
• Represent the voice of the field to Product and Engineering to advocate for roadmap priorities
• Establish SE org infrastructure including qualification criteria, demo standards, and career ladders
• Leverage familiarity with accounting workflows to help the team build credibility with finance buyers

Requirements

• Proven track record building and leading SE teams at a SaaS company
• Experience in a high-growth or early-stage environment
• Demonstrated ability to develop talent from non-traditional backgrounds (e.g., finance, accounting)
• Active, hands-on use of AI to improve team workflows and scale impact

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience selling into finance buyers like Controllers, VPs of Finance, or CFOs
• Background in fintech, accounting software, or financial close technology
• Experience building SE org infrastructure from scratch including comp plans and onboarding
