Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform sales and marketing efforts to meet area sales goals through territory and account management.
• Develop complete technical proposals in conjunction with the Operations Department.
• Conduct regular sales calls to existing major accounts and establish relationships with new customers.
• Deliver effective customer presentations and ensure proposal pricing is accurate and technically correct.
• Identify and develop new accounts by building relationships at the executive level.
• Promote company services, including maintenance, engineering, and professional services.
• Participate in trade shows, professional societies, and industry marketing activities.
• Mentor and train Associate Sales Engineers in technical aspects, sales skills, and business activities.

Requirements

• BSEE or BSME degree with 5-7 years of similar work experience, OR
• Graduate of an electrical technical school with 15 years of similar work experience.
• Proven experience working with management levels at major customer accounts.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours, including weekends and overnight stays.
• Ability to conduct construction site walk-throughs and work around electrical equipment.
