Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of the sales process, from qualifying new customers to cultivating existing relationships.
• Generate sales opportunities for Industrial Process Heating and Heat Trace products, systems, and services.
• Develop technical proposals and perform basic thermal calculations to design effective heating solutions.
• Manage the order cycle, including order entry, approval drawings, and material returns authorizations.
• Analyze the market to identify and compile lists of potential and target customers.
• Plan sales activities to ensure proactive customer engagement and high brand presence.
• Attend industry events to build relationships with key contacts at various organizational levels.

Requirements

• 2+ years of experience in outside sales or a technical service role.
• Strong communication, networking, and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task with a strong sense of urgency.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively to resolve project issues.
• Self-motivated and results-oriented with a track record of meeting goals.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering.
• Other relevant technical degrees.
