About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage Nuon’s demo assets including weekly setup of multiple apps in Nuon Cloud
- Perform product demonstrations for prospects
- Maintain a local development environment to stay current with new features
- Test the Nuon product and report bugs
- Provide technical support to prospects and customers in public Slack channels
- Contribute to documentation and the knowledge base
- Assist and lead proof-of-concepts
- Attend conferences and meet-ups
- Author technical blog posts and host technical webinars
Requirements
- 3+ years as a customer-facing engineer in infrastructure or developer tools
- Experience working in early-stage startup environments
- Strong customer-facing skills to present to technical stakeholders
- Solid Linux skills
- Proficiency with AI tools like Claude Code
- 2+ years of experience with Kubernetes and containerization
- Proficiency with AWS and other cloud providers (GCP or Azure)
- 2+ years of experience with Terraform
- Expertise in networking including VPCs, load balancers, and ingress controllers
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience in developer relations
- History of authoring technical blog posts
- Active presence on X and Hacker News regarding technical content
- Background as a full-stack engineer
