About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead technical discovery to map prospect environments, integration needs, and technical requirements
  • Translate customer requirements into solution architectures and deployment plans
  • Engage IT, InfoSec, and network stakeholders on SaaS architecture, API integrations, and SSO
  • Deliver compelling, audience-specific platform demonstrations
  • Partner with Account Executives to advance opportunities through technical milestones using MEDDPICC
  • Manage technical pilots and ensure clear success criteria
  • Own the technical handoff to the Implementation team
  • Build and maintain a library of technical assets like diagrams and RFP responses
  • Collaborate with Product and Engineering to surface field feedback

Requirements

  • 4+ years in a Sales Engineer, Solutions Engineer, or Pre-Sales role at a B2B SaaS company
  • Experience supporting enterprise sales cycles from discovery to technical handoff
  • Strong consultative discovery and demo skills
  • Proficiency engaging stakeholders on virtualization, networking, APIs, and SaaS architecture
  • Ability to build repeatable processes and systems
  • Clear, precise written communication skills
  • Ability to travel up to 25% for on-site meetings
  • Based in or willing to work from El Segundo, CA

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in physical security, PSIM, or GSOC operations
  • Familiarity with VMS platforms and enterprise camera ecosystems
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise networking (subnets, firewalls, DNS, RTSP/RTP)
  • Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) or cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Background selling AI/ML-powered products
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Systems
