Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality product demonstrations and presentations to customers
• Drive complex technical engagements to prove the value of Harness solutions
• Work directly with customers to debug common errors
• Tie business problems to technical solutions and articulate value propositions
• Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs
• Convey customer requirements to Engineering teams
• Represent the product at field events, conferences, and seminars

Requirements

• Background in software development or a DevOps role
• Strong knowledge of cloud technologies and infrastructure automation
• Experience with Terraform
• Ability to travel throughout a sales territory with minimal restrictions
• Excellent presentation and communication skills
• Ability to work at the intersection of sales and engineering
