Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Support sales efforts to achieve and exceed revenue targets by partnering with sales teams and enabling partners.
• Lead technical discussions with enterprise customers to map requirements to Forcepoint solutions, including data protection, cloud, email, and network security.
• Deliver technical presentations, solution demos, architecture workshops, and whiteboarding sessions for technical and executive stakeholders.
• Provide pre-sales engineering support, solution design, and security architecture consulting.
• Design and support Proof of Concepts (PoCs), pilots, and production evaluations in customer environments.
• Collaborate with internal teams to design integrations across cloud and on-prem infrastructures.
• Contribute to RFI/RFP responses, including the creation of architecture diagrams and technical documentation.
• Build and maintain demo environments and lab infrastructures for cloud-native security use cases.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity, preferably in pre-sales, solution engineering, or security consulting.
• Strong understanding of enterprise security and network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with security platforms such as Palo Alto Networks, Check Point, Broadcom, or McAfee.
• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SMTP) and security protocols (TLS/SSL, firewalls, NAT/SNAT).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including identity, networking, and security services.
• Familiarity with identity and access management (Active Directory, Azure AD, SAML, SSO).
• Proficiency in Python, Regex, or PowerShell scripting for automation or API interaction.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related engineering discipline.
• Fluency in English (written and spoken) with strong communication skills for executive engagement.
