Sales Engineer

Responsibilities

• Act as a subject matter expert providing strategic guidance and technical support for the Doble Solutions Portfolio
• Lead the technical sales process, including performing pre-sales equipment demonstrations and technical presentations
• Identify and develop new growth opportunities, market segments, and revenue streams
• Review technical specifications for RFPs, RFQs, and RFIs
• Provide hands-on training to customers and ensure Channel Partners are equipped to demo equipment
• Deliver remote technical support to resolve product issues via email, telephone, or web
• Collaborate with internal Engineering and Solutions teams to gather client feedback for future product enhancements
• Manage sales pipelines, forecasts, and documentation within Salesforce
• Travel domestically and internationally (40-50%) to meet customer needs and attend industry trade shows

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field
• At least 2 years of technical experience in the electric power industry
• Thorough knowledge of testing practices for transformers, protection, or rotating apparatus
• Hands-on technical experience with testing equipment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Valid driver's license and a valid passport
• Ability to travel 40-50% of the time

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Doble products and services
• Proficiency in local languages within the territory (e.g., Portuguese, Spanish, Arabic, French, or German)
• Previous experience in technical training or field support
